This closeness to nature and to the most beautiful corners of the region inspires us anew every day. More about your hosts

Sebastian Ader: The Maucher natural dairy - Königshof Hotel Resort

Sebastian Ader

The Maucher natural dairy

A true gem in the region is the Maucher natural dairy: a family-run business that has been lovingly producing cheese and dairy products by hand for decades – entirely without additives and exclusively from fresh milk from local cows. If you value quality, regionality and authentic flavour, this is the place for you. Directly adjoining the dairy is a charming café, where homemade cakes, freshly brewed coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere invite you to linger. This is where honest craftsmanship meets heartfelt hospitality – perfect for a little escape from everyday life.

“When I really want to switch off, I enjoy a good cup of coffee and a slice of cheesecake there – for me, the perfect moment between nature and indulgence.”
– Sebastian Ader, Managing Director

Lukas Neumann: Köpfle & Juget Alpe - Königshof Hotel Resort

Lukas Neumann

Köpfle & Juget Alpe

Juget Alpe is a real insider tip in the Allgäu – a place full of tranquillity, authenticity and closeness to nature. Situated between Missen and Immenstadt, this rustic alpine hut can be reached from Trieblings, Missen or Zaumberg by various routes – on foot or by bike. The route leads through dense forests and blossoming meadows, accompanied by birdsong all the way up to the Köpfle at 1,024 metres. Once at the top, you’re rewarded: The view of the Großer Alpsee and the surrounding peaks is simply magical. A place where your soul can truly breathe – full of space, tranquillity and the feeling of having arrived. This is somewhere to linger, recharge and simply enjoy the Allgäu in its purest form.

“For me, Juget Alpe is a favourite place with flavour – nature and views that make everyday life fade away.”
– Lukas Neumann, Hotel Director

Vivien Kaschel: Oberstaufen winter hiking trail - Königshof Hotel Resort

Vivien Kaschel

Oberstaufen winter hiking trail

Above the centre of Oberstaufen , an idyllic winter hiking trail winds its way through the quiet, snow-covered landscape – a place that invites you to pause and simply enjoy the moment. Ms Kaschel and her four-legged companion are drawn back here time and again. With every visit, they rediscover the magic of this special place. Their very own favourite spot, with sweeping views over picturesque Oberstaufen, gives them peace, strength and a deep sense of home. As they stroll leisurely through the sparkling snow, their gaze wanders across the panorama – and for a moment, time seems to stand still.

“For me, there’s no better place to simply feel the moment and find peace.”
– Vivien Kaschel, Assistant to the Management

Kerstin Dietrich: “BEIM STRUMPFAR” MUSEUM - Königshof Hotel Resort

Kerstin Dietrich

“BEIM STRUMPFAR” MUSEUM

For anyone who wants to learn more about the region’s traditions and crafts, the “Beim Strumpfar” museum is a must. Immerse yourself in Oberstaufen’s history and discover how people here once lived and worked. This charming museum brings history to life – a highlight for all culture enthusiasts.

“On a guided tour of the museum, I like to take my time discovering the stories of the region – every step brings me closer to the history and culture of our home.”
– Kerstin Dietrich, Accounts
