The Maucher natural dairy
A true gem in the region is the Maucher natural dairy: a family-run business that has been lovingly producing cheese and dairy products by hand for decades – entirely without additives and exclusively from fresh milk from local cows. If you value quality, regionality and authentic flavour, this is the place for you. Directly adjoining the dairy is a charming café, where homemade cakes, freshly brewed coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere invite you to linger. Köpfle & Juget Alpe
Juget Alpe is a real insider tip in the Allgäu – a place full of tranquillity, authenticity and closeness to nature. Situated between Missen and Immenstadt, this rustic alpine hut can be reached from Trieblings, Missen or Zaumberg by various routes – on foot or by bike. The route leads through dense forests and blossoming meadows, accompanied by birdsong all the way up to the Köpfle at 1,024 metres. Once at the top, you’re rewarded: The view of the Großer Alpsee and the surrounding peaks is simply magical. A place where your soul can truly breathe – full of space, tranquillity and the feeling of having arrived. This is somewhere to linger, recharge and simply enjoy the Allgäu in its purest form.
